This is MINT HQ's refund and cancellation policy. It's written plainly because it should be readable. If anything's unclear, email support@minthq.app or message us in Discord — we'd rather have a conversation than send you to a lawyer.
You can cancel your monthly Pro or MAX subscription at any time through your Whop dashboard. There's no cancellation fee and no questions to answer.
When you cancel:
If you can't find the cancel option in Whop, email support@minthq.app and we'll cancel it for you the same day.
If a Pro or MAX auto-renewal charge surprised you — you forgot to cancel, your card was charged after you meant to cancel, you didn't see the renewal email — email us within 72 hours of the charge and we'll refund it.
This is a goodwill window, not a legal entitlement (more on that below). It exists because we'd rather refund a confused customer than fight with them.
If MINT HQ is unreachable for more than 24 consecutive hours, we'll credit your next billing period for free. For multi-day outages we'll offer a prorated refund instead. We'll reach out proactively when this applies — you don't need to ask.
We don't credit for short outages, scheduled maintenance, or third-party service issues outside our control (your internet, Supabase, Vercel).
If you accidentally bought the same subscription twice, or paid for both monthly and annual on the same account, email us within 30 days and we'll refund the duplicate. Mistakes happen.
We're upfront about this so there are no surprises:
UK consumers have a statutory 14-day right to cancel digital-service purchases under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
When you start a MINT HQ subscription, you tick a checkbox at signup that reads:
“By starting your MINT HQ subscription, you confirm that you want immediate access and you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once access begins.”
Ticking that checkbox is a lawful waiver of the 14-day cancellation right under regulation 37(1) of the regulations, in exchange for immediate access to the service.
This means after signup, the only refund rights you have are the ones described in this policy.
If you'd prefer to keep your 14-day right, don't tick the consent box — but you won't be able to start a paid subscription without it.
There are three ways to raise a refund. Use them in this order — it's faster for you:
Email support@minthq.app with your account email and the charge you want refunded. We respond within 1 business day. Most refund requests are resolved here.
If we can't agree on Step 1, you can open a dispute in the Whop Resolution Center. Whop adjudicates the dispute independently and their decision is final.
A chargeback is your last-resort right with your card issuer. Please don't go straight here:
We're happy to refund cases that are genuinely owed. Talk to us first.
Outages of 24+ consecutive hours: we credit your next billing period. Multi-day outages: prorated refund as goodwill. Short outages and scheduled maintenance: no credit. We don't credit for issues with your internet connection or third-party services we depend on (Supabase, Vercel, Whop) when they're outside our control.
No. Permanent bans for breach of our Terms forfeit access and any remaining subscription value. This applies to founding members the same as monthly subscribers. If you think the ban was a mistake, email us before disputing — we review every ban personally.
Email us within 30 days with both charge details and we'll refund the duplicate. We'll keep the older one active so you don't lose access.
We don't pro-rate annual plan refunds for circumstance changes. Cancel when you're ready and you keep access until the end of your paid period. Your data stays on your account if you want to come back.
