Make your dashboard yours

What you’ll get done

You'll have the widgets you care about on your dashboard, in the order and the widths you want, on every device.

Your dashboard is made of widgets: the welcome card, Needs attention, your numbers, Presale, Wins, the charts, and more you can add. Put the ones you use most at the top, give them the room they need, and hide the rest.

Start customising

On a computer, press Customise at the top, next to the period switch. A bar pins under the top bar while you work, and each widget shows its name on a handle.

Customising: the bar with Add widgets, Reset and Done, and a handle on every widget.

Press Done when you're finished. There's nothing to save: every change keeps itself as you make it.

Move widgets and share a row

Drag a widget by its handle (or anywhere on it) and drop it where you want it:

  • Drop it between two rows and it gets a row of its own.
  • Drop it on the left or right half of another widget and the two share a row.

A line and a label show where it will land before you let go. A row holds up to three widgets, and every row fills the width of the page.

You can also use the keyboard. Press Tab to reach a widget's handle, then the arrow keys: up and down move it through the rows, left and right move it within its row.

Widths

When two widgets share a row, drag the line between them to change how much room each one gets. It snaps to a third, two fifths, a half, three fifths or two thirds. Three widgets in a row get a third each.

Some widgets need more room than others, so a drop that won't fit becomes a row of its own. Presale and Wins always take the full width.

Hide and add widgets

Press the minus on a widget to hide it. Changed your mind? Press Undo on the message that appears.

Press Add widgets to see every widget you can add, grouped by what it's about: selling, buying and stock, costs and returns, tax and your records, and MINT CCG. Each one shows a preview with your own figures. Press Add to put it at the end of your dashboard, or drag it straight onto the page.

The welcome card's three styles

The welcome card can move but can't be hidden. Pick its style on its handle while you customise:

  • Card: the full card, with your net profit, your level and the month's target.
  • Banner: a thin strip across the page, on a row of its own.
  • Tile: a third of a row, so two other widgets can sit beside it.

Your welcome card

Make the welcome card yours. While you customise, press the finish button on the welcome card's handle (on a phone: Finish and more, under its style). The card stays in view, so you see every change as you make it.

  • Finish: Graphite, Obsidian, Onyx marble, Brushed titanium, Black leather or Camo, in black or blue. Every finish has the same silver edge.
  • The number: the card can lead with your net profit, gross profit, revenue or items sold, for the period at the top of the page, with its change on the period before.
  • Target: hide the month's target if you'd rather not see it here. It stays on This month and in Settings.
  • The MINT HQ mark: on Graphite it's the weekly background. Turn it off for a plain card.

The card always greets you by your name. Reset puts the welcome card back as it started: Graphite, net profit, the target and the mark.

Start again

Press Reset to go back to the standard layout, the one every new account starts with. Press Undo if you didn't mean to.

On a phone

On a phone your widgets sit one under the other, in the same order as on your computer. Scroll to the end of the dashboard and press Customise dashboard.

Customise dashboard on a phone.

From there you can:

  • move a widget up or down with its handle,
  • hide one with its switch,
  • add one from the lists below,
  • change the welcome card's style, finish and what it shows.

Widths are set on a computer. A widget you move on your phone gets a row of its own there.

If you're registered for VAT

For a VAT-registered seller, dashboard costs leave out the VAT you claim back, so they can be lower than the Expenses page, which shows what you paid. The cost widgets say "ex VAT" so you can tell.

It follows your account

Your layout is kept with your account, so every computer you sign in on and your phone show the same widgets in the same order.
